The staff was very nice and polite , and Dr . Ascunce is wonderful ! He takes his time to explain the issue and you don’t feel rushed!

Dr. Ascunce put me at ease right away with his relaxed demeanor. He was already in the OR when I arrived to answer any questions. When I awoke, he was in the same spot. Comforting!

We recently met with Dr. Ascunce to discuss my husband's rather complicated medical history and ask that he do a follow up colonoscopy. I literally had my colonoscopy early this AM… from booking my first appointment, having the consultation, and now having finished the procedure things could not have gone smoother.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Ascunce for many years and today I repeat my opinions! He is the Best Gastroenterologist in NY! I may be repetitive, but it’s the truth! Dr. Ascunce’s knowledge and compassion are above all! He takes the time to listen to you and explain. In fact, he will draw you an illustration to make sure you understand what is going on! When you walk out his office you know that he is the BEST!!! Finally, he follows up with a call to see if you are feeling better; making sure that the medicine is working! If you are looking for a gastroenterologist to take care of you! Trust me he is the Doctor for you to see! Go ahead and make that call, you will be greeted by his professional staff!!

My first appointment with Dr. Ascunce was great. He made me feel very at ease and comfortable.
